Ziegler. Marion was wounded at the Battle of Winchester, Virginia on September 19, 1864. He was honorable discharged at Philadelphia, Penn. On Aug 6, 1865. He had impaired use of his left thigh in consequence of the severe gunshot wound, a ball entered middle part of the middle thigh and was excised.”
